Disciplines - you can run, swim, bike, skate...
KagyuRun that is the slogan and idea, but of course no limits shall hemper your creative ideas and energy to work for a common goal. If you want to swim, bike, skate for the Europe Center Project this is more than welcome. Some groups did that already in the previous years, and we now extended the "KagyuRun discplines" "officialy".
For one of the most asked question "how much is a km/ how much shall a sponsor give?" we still promote the baseline of 1 Euro for 1 km. This makes a key or translation necessary, to make different disciplines comparable for sponsors. In the following table we listed the sports, that we could think of. If you have other ideas, please let us know. Only prerequisite: it shall be some kind of sports, where people move forward without additional motor besides their own physical energy.

Which means for example you have to skate twice as much or bike three times the distance of a runner/ jogger to create the same sponsoring result, or swim 200 m to equal 1 km of a jogger. Questions, other ideas? mail to our team and let us know.
*new discipline!: paddling the speed when paddling relaxed (depending of the winds and the paddler of course, but approx...) is very close to average speed of walking, about 6km/h, and if you want to sweat, the speed would be comparable to jogging/running.
